The focus of this capstone project is to encourage students to pursue a higher education by being aware that going to college is possible. They need to understand the value of higher education: opportunities for them to succeed, qualify for better jobs, and have a brighter future. Our capstone project focuses on informing fifth-grade students about the opportunities available to them to attend college. Often times parents do not encourage their children to go to college because they cannot afford to pay for tuition, etc. due to their family financial needs.
