The Eighth Catalogue of the International Young Men’s Christian Association Training School for the academic year 1892-1893, with prospectus for 1893-4. The catalogue was published May, 1893. The Contents are on the inside cover with the Design of the School appearing on the reverse side of the title page. The Triangle, the official seal of the School, appears on the cover page and title page. Next is the academic Calendar for the summer conference on physical work, the ninth regular school year 1893-1894, and correspondence courses. The Calendar is followed by the Corporation members and Trustees, Officers and committees, and the Control statement. The students, 1892-93, are listed by class and department. Correspondence Students are also listed by department. A list of Instructors follows, categorized by General Course, Secretarial Department, and Physical Department. The General Course of instruction or outline of study, common to both departments, is listed per class. Departmental course of study follow beginning with the Secretarial Department with Special Lectures and Conferences then the Physical Department two-year course of study. A section on the Second Summer Conference precedes the Daily Order of Exercises by Departments, Monday to Friday. The remaining sections are Terms of Admission, Rooms, Estimate of Expenses, Correspondence Courses for each department and finally, Textbooks. Note that the correspondence students and courses appear in the seventh, eight, and ninth catalogues.
