A photograph of Springfield College Cross Country athlete, Kate Meehan, running a race. She is all alone and running directly at the camera. Spectators can be seen behind her watching the runners. The placard on her jersey says, "1991 NCAA East Cross Country Championships." She is number 511.Kathryn J. Meehan was a graduate of Springfield College in 1993. She was on both the Cross Country and the Track and Field teams during her time at Springfield College, earning Division II All-American in cross county in 1991 and 1992 and for 1500 meter (Indoor) and 3,000 meter (Indoor/Outdoor) in Track for 1992. She was inducted into the Springfield College Athletic Hall of Fame in 2017.This image was donated to the Archives from the SC Athletic Department. It was donated as a electronic file. The photograph was printed out and a physical copy was placed into the Student File. The original copy of this photographic print does not currently exist in the Archives
