This group of documents provide information on the life of Elmer Berry. The three sheets include when and where he received his college degrees, publications and the positions he held.Elmer Berry graduated from Springfield College in 1902 and was an instructor in anatomy, gymnastics, and athletics before receiving a MPE degree there in 1908. Later, he was a professor of physical education and physiology at the college. He received EdM and EdD degrees at Harvard University and was the author of several articles on physical education. In 1927, he was called to the National YMCA, College of Physical Education in Saidapet, Madras, India, and served as acting principal for two years.
