Joe McEvoy coached the women's swimming team for 3 seasons, from 1972-1975, and ended his coaching career with a record of 14 wins and 4 losses (.778 winning percentage). After graduation Susan Petersen Lubow went on to become the first female head coach and first female athletic director at a United States military servace academy, attaining both posts at the Merchant Marine Academy
