Abstract

A letter written by K. Tomizawa of the Sutter Street Branch of the San Francisco YMCA to Mr. Frank Mohler of the International YMCA College (now Springfield College) in regards to Tadakatsu Miyazaki's attendance at the College.Mr. Miyazaki, originally from Japan, was born in 1897. Mr. Miyazaki applied to the International YMCA College in 1924, and graduated with a B.S. from the Boys Work Division in 1928. He also did volunteer work for the YMCA in San Francisco before applying to the College. After graduating from the College, Mr. Miyazaki accepted a position as Boys Work Secretary at the YMCA in Osaka, Japan. He also was in charge of the Personnel Department School Division, and as Director of Club among Boys
