This pamphlet titled "Springfield College Athletic Hall of Fame Induction" discussed the 1989 induction ceremony, that took place on November 1, 1989. The ceremony consisted of the invocation by Kathy Coorigan Ekas ('66), opening remarks by Scott Taylor ('66), dinner, the President's remarks by Frank S. The pamphlet then discusses the following people who were inducted into the Hall of Fame that year: Hugh B. Mendez, Mark S. Randall, and Diane L. Potter.Dr. Diane Potter coached the women's softball team for an amazing 21 years. She was Springfield College’s first gymnastics and softball coach. She created the softball program from the bottom up and was considered to be a leading pioneer for softball in the New England area.
