Springfield College Commencement Program (1955)

A program for the sixty ninth commencement ceremonies of Springfield College held in 1955. This pamphlet starts by describing the program, including songs, prayers, commencement address, presentation of diplomas, and a list of the members of the graduating class. Mrs. Douglas Horton gave the commencement address. Honorary degrees were conferred to James V. Bennett, Henry Alonzo Field, Mildred McAfee Horton (Doctor of Humanics), William Leonard Hughes (Doctor of Science), Charles Francis Hall, and Robert Cutler (Doctor of Laws)
