TEDxFIT: Stitching the world together, One Sweater at a Time, Julie Conroy

Knitting was a constant theme in the life of Anya Cole. This led her to start luxury fashion brand HANIA by Anya Cole in her early 50's. Julie Conroy will be discussing the role of artisans in luxury production, prodution in New York and, ethical/sustainable production of Hania by Anya Cole. Julie Conroy is Creative Director of HANIA by Anya Cole, a luxury knitwear brand based in NYC. Julie studied design at the West Australian Institute of Technology and took many career turns in the music, wine, design and photography worlds before joining HANIA by Anya Cole in 2014.
