This photograph was taken in June 1971 and shows members of the Springfield College softball team posing around a statue of a man kneeling in Holland. Left to right, the players pictured are (crouching) Char Phelps, Deb Morgan, Jo Palumbo, Judy Bridges, (standing) Claire Taylor, Pam Prentiss, Sheila Bewsee, and Beth Cross.During this trip, they played against Holland's national team, which was preparing for the Olympics, and organized coaching and player clinics throughout the country’s amateur circuit.Document is a PDF of scanned copies that belong to donor.
