Older catalogue records list this item as part of a series of images published by Springfield College in a 1930s recruitment pamphlet with two titles: “A Cinema of Springfield College” and “Being the story of a Young Man who elects to go to Springfield College.” However, this image is in neither pamphlet. It may have been used in a similar lantern slide presentation to recruit prospective students
