Abstract

A drawing and floor plan of the Pueblo of the Seven Fires done by Ernest Thompson Seton.The Pueblo is located in Springfield College's East Campus and was constructed in the early 1930s as a headquarters for training students in camping, woodcraft, handcrafts, field science, nature lore, Indian lore and similar subjects. Seton and Edgar Robinson, both pioneers in the Boy Scout movement, were instrumental in its design. This image is part of a group of drawings that form the basis of the design for the Pueblo.
