Binary Stars is a collection of linked short stories. A Binary Stars is defined as a system of two stars in which one star revolves around the other or both revolve around a common center. Whether they know it or not, the characters in this collection all somehow revolve around one another in their common center of New York City. Their connection might be small--they converse with the same stranger, or big--they have slept together. Whatever the circumstances of their links to each other, the stories and scenes in Binary Stars all incorporate themes of love-lost, self-exploration, want, family, escape, future and home
