Many technical professional societies have technical divisions to which its members can belong. The American Society for Engineering Management has had no divisional structure since its inception. Within the last decade, ASEM has developed the Engineering Management Body of Knowledge (EMBOK), which is comprised of eleven domains of knowledge. The various product and service offerings of ASEM are moving to structures that align with the EMBOK domains as part of the society\u27s strategic plan and vision. The Society is now considering how to effectively introduce Domain Interest Groups, or DIGs, to better serve its members and the profession worldwide.
