Since the author has always been interested in Aeronautical Engineering, and in particular, rotary-winged-aircraft, the problem of research for aerodynamic improvement of rotary-wing control systems was chosen. This problem was suggested by the Army Aircorps Officials of Wright-Patterson Field of Dayton, Ohio as being a valuable and practical problem for the government.
