This session will describe seven principles of learning, distilled from research in cognitive, developmental, and social psychology; education; and diversity studies. These seven principles align with the perspective that learning is developmental and holistic. In addition, because the principles are relevant across disciplines, student experience levels, and cultural contexts, we will explore how they apply to a variety of teaching situations
