The goal of this session is to demonstrate step-by-step how to design and implement a field trip experiential learning activity. We developed a process that involves defining the learning outcomes; defining the field trip; introducing the theory related to it; developing an instructional questionnaire to guide student observations on the field trip; conducting a comprehensive debrief; and developing the assessment activities with its respective rubric. We will show how to conduct the whole process, using an experiential learning activity developed for an undergraduate Organizational Behavior class.
