Faculty and institutions encourage students to become engaged, independent learners in diverse ways, from disciplinary seminars and undergraduate research projects to writing-intensive courses and community-based learning. What can happen when we go further in prompting students to be reflective learners by inviting them to join us in pedagogical planning and in inquiry into teaching and learning?
