The effects of child versus adult television models presenting pro-nutritional messages via television advertisements were examined in three groups of first-grade children. Group 1 consisted of children viewing child television models with nutritional messages; Group 2 viewed adult television models with nutritional messages; and. Group 3 served as a control group and viewed both child and adults presenting information on animals. Behavioral food preferences were determined by children\u27s food selections during pre- and post-treatment snacktime periods.
