Erratum: Hydrogen Spillover from a Metal Oxide Catalyst onto Carbon Nanotubes -- Implications for Hydrogen Storage

Yang, pages 165-168 (doi:10.1006/jcat.2001.3472; PII: S0021-9517(01)93472-4): The authors have found an error in Fig. 2. There was a large discrepancy in the thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) temperature measurement that yielded these results. A later temperature calibration of the TGA with CuSO4·5H2O showed that the distance between the sample and the thermocouple led to a large temperature differential within the body of the TGA. The calibration was used to correct the temperature readings, and these corrections have been incorporated into the new Fig. 2 shown here [image]. The resulting figure shows a slight temperature shift in the hydrogen uptake profiles
