Add to ORKGPrayer card dated March 19, 1944, honoring Very Rev. Vladimir Ledochowski (Wodzimierz Ledochowski), Father General of the Society of Jesus, who died December 13, 1942. The back of the card (not scanned due to damage) included a brief biography, and the following comments: "It speaks much for his amiable character that he was an intimate friend of two great Popes. He was dearly loved by his subjects, who numbered at the time of his death 27,000, and by all who had occasion to deal with him. His Holiness, Pope Pius XII, allowed himself, on the night that Father Ledochowski died, to be quoted to the effect he did not doubt but that his cause would be introduced.
