Interdisciplinary and contextualization of the contents by Study Situations is a way to curricular reconfiguration. In this sense, this work proposed a Study Situation whose subject was self-medication mainly to teach Chemistry, the result of research whose objective was to investigate the teaching and learning processes made possible through this strategy. This proposal contains activities developed in four moments during eight classes in a public school, located in a small town in Bahia, Brazil.
