Goals and Objectives: The purpose of this study was to assess particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10) in the air of homes in south-eastern Georgia. Theoretical Framework: Given that many Americans spend the majority of their time indoors, the quality of air in one\u27s home is crucial to their health and quality of life. Studies have reported an increased risk in hypertension from long-term exposure to particulate matter. In addition, increased visits to the pediatric emergency department for upper respiratory infections as well as asthma or wheeze have also been associated with PM2.5 concentrations.
