The objective of this research was to observe the utilization of cane sugar industry waste (CSIW) to increase soybean (Glycine max) production on mediteran soils (Typic Hapludalf) at Kulon Progo Yogyakarta Special Regions. The 4 x 3 factorial experiment was arranged in randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three replications. The first factor was the dosage of compost (K), while the second one was incubation of compost after application (I). The experiment had been conducted at Banjarasri, Yogyakarta since July 2004 up to June 2005.
