PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER PADA FULL DAY SCHOOL: (Studi Multikasus Di SDI Kota Blitar dan SDIT Al-Hikmah Kabupaten Blitar)

The purpose of this study are: Firstly, describe and analyze the concept of values ​​embedded by Islamic Elementary School. Blitar and Al-hikmah Garum integrated Islamic Elementary school, Blitar in building character of the full day school. Second, Describe and analyze the strategies of character education in full day school at Islamic Elementary School, Blitar and Al-hikmah Garum Blitar. Third, describe and analyze the implications of character education in full day school, Blitar and Al-hikmah Garum integrated Islamic Elementary school, Blitar. In this study, researchers uses a qualitative approach of multi-case research type. Data collection used is unstructural interview, observation and documentation. The informant of research are the principal, vice-deputy head of school curriculum areas, teachers, and students and parents in Islamic Elmentary School, Blitar and Al-hikmah Garum Integrated Islamic Elmentary school, Blitar After the data obtained and analyzed, the test validity is done by triangulation technique. The results show that character education in the full day school at Islamic Elmentary school, Blitar and Al-hikmah Garum Integrated Islamic Elementary school, Blitar has concept of values instilled by the schools which refer to the 18 grades of the Ministry of National Education and to the vision and mission of the school. The strategy which is used to intill values in character education, are: (1) through learning activities (KBM) in class, (2) through the extracurricular activities of the school, (3) through the culture of the school, (4) through the activities of students at home with monitoring by parents. Implications of character  are: (1) condotioning school activities easier and maximal, (2) The relationship  between teacher and student is closer and (3) The students’ ettitudes reflect good characters
