HUBUNGAN ANTARA SELF-EFFICACY DAN BURNOUT PADA ANGGOTA POLISI SATNARKOBA POLRESTA JAMBI: THE CORRELATION BETWEEN SELF-EFFICACY AND BURNOUT ON NARCOTICS POLICE AT POLRESTA JAMBI

INTRODUCTION A police was prosecuted to be ready with any pressures at work that can cause burnout. Overcame burnout was not easy to handle for some people who have lack of self-efficacy to solve their tensions or problems. High self-efficacy can help police to overcome any pressures, so as to minimize the stress and prevent the symptoms of burnout. METHOD This research used quantitative approach with correlational method. Using total sampling because this research was conducted on all of narcotics police at Polresta Jambi, amount of 34 subjects. Data collection used self-efficacy scale and burnout scale. The data were analyzed by Pearson Product Moment technique. RESULT The results showed that self-efficacy was negatively correlated with burnout on narcotics police at Polresta Jambi with r = -0,594 and p = 0,000 (p < 0,01), thus the research hypothesis was accepted. Self-efficacy contributed 35,3% to the burnout. CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION There was a negative correlation between self-efficacy and burnout on narcotics police at Polresta Jambi. Based on the research’s results, subjects were expected to increase the dimensions of self-efficacy to prevent burnout. Police agencies were expected to facilitate the softskill development in order to reduce depersonalization on subjects which can cause burnout. Keywords: Self-Efficacy, Burnout, Narcotics Polic
