In this talk, we will introduce a a generalized l1 greedy algorithm via total variation minimization for CT image reconstruction. Numerical experiments are shown to illustrate the convergence of the new algorithm and demonstrate the superiority of the algorithm over the reweighted l1 minimization and l1 greedy algorithm
