Abstract

To belong to a sociopolitical category in general and to a group in particular, is a daily accomplishment. « To be member of » is not a brute, natural fact, but a practice that is learnt and deserved by interacting with the environment. Such a view emerges from the following case-analysis of the experiences of Huarpes indigenous students who received a scholarship to study in a public Argentinean University. We pursue two main objectives. First, we describe indigenous’ intercultural experience.
