Nowadays the word "Kensyu" is very well known, and "Kensyu" for teachers is in particular known and self-evident. Generally it is a matter of common knowledge that "Kensyu" was coined in the law for special regulation concerning educational personnel in postwar Japan, but there is no blinking the fact that "Kensyu" had existed in prewar Japan and it was used as the significant concept on education in wartime Japan.
