Anticipating integrated-system performance often requires full-wave electromagnetic simulations. Commercial full-wave tools may not be able to efficiently handle these types of problems due to either the large scale of the problems, which demand enormous computational resources, or modeling of active devices, which is necessary for system-level power delivery network analysis in the time domain.
