An emotional crisis is an event of crucial importance in the life of any person. The urgency to deal with emergency situations and emotional crisis was formulated considering the principles of the learning theory, psychoanalytical concepts, and specific short-term psychotherapy models. It derives from the adaptive theory, defined as a set of responses that a live organism emits, in various moments, to situations that modify it, allowing therefore the maintenance of a life compatible organization.
