In this thesis, I demonstrate that from the earliest time of the Christian Church, Christians have held and taught a doctrine of universal salvation. That some Christians have always held such a teaching is not a matter that is in dispute. That such a teaching is reasonable to believe and promulgate, however, is in dispute
