In my thesis, I discussed St. Jerome\u27s attitudes, as represented in his letters, toward women. I found that in his discourse, he limits female autonomy and authority by pigeonholing them into one, and only one, category: the role of Eve. I furthered my argument by using the theoretical material of Michel Foucault
