An evaluation of domestic nuclear reactor facility security in the post September 11 environment: perspectives from the national, state, and site-specific levels

This research, developed as a comprehensive white paper, examines security at nuclear reactor facilities in the United States by incorporating a model that has both global and local applications within the national infrastructure of relevance to security. Rather than analyze threats from the perspective of a given installation, the current research attempts to examine these threats by scrutinizing the national and state-wide infrastructures within which a given installation operates. A methodology is presented to describe a framework for security policy within this infrastructure on both global and local platforms. --Abstract, page iii
