Two nations of India and Pakistan have had a conflictual relationship ever since they became independent from British colonial rule in 1947. The last six years have shown several swings in the relations, from thaw to renewed hostility to a cautious rapprochement. My presentation will focus primarily on two questions; how did the War on Terror affect this relationship andwhat factors have helped a rapprochement between the two nations.
