P(論文)The lute book of Jacques Gallot, published in the second half of the seventeenth century in Paris is, along with the two books of Denis Gaultier, very important in the development of French lute music. It is important not because of its repertoire, but because of the information on lute music itself, its ornamentation, and the social conditions surrounding the lute. In this paper I have examined the researches from the end of the nineteenth century until the present, and examined Gallot's lute book by focusing on the author and the age in which the book was published. I then translated and annotated the advertissement, dedication, and instructions.departmental bulletin pape
