AN ANALYSIS OF SELF ESTEEM AND SELF ACTUALIZATION IN LEARNING ENGLISH AT SMP MUHAMMADIYAH 7 CERME GRESIK

This study is to describe the correlation between self esteem and self actualization in Learning English at seventh grade of SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Cerme . The purpose of this study is expected to know the correlation between self esteem and self actualization in learning English at seventh Grade SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Cerme , The data collection instruments used for the study was questionnaire.. There was twenty items for self esteem questionnaire and also twenty items for self actualizations. After getting data from the school, the researcher analyzed the data. The first step, the researcher gave score from each item the questionnaire for the students .The second step the researcher analyzed the data by using SPSS 16.00. The result is the score between variable x (self esteem ) and y (self actualization ) was 0,870 , because the result was positive, it showed that was any correlation between two variables.
