PENDAPATAN USAHATANI TOMAT DI DESA TESBATAN KECAMATAN AMARASI KABUPATEN KUPANG

Kupang regency is one of the tomato producer region in East Nusa  Tenggara and has a good potential for the developing of holticultural plant, especially vegetables and fruit. In addition to a good marketing prospect, holticurtural plant is efforted by all of the villager in Kupang regency. Tesbatan vilage’s farmers work away for tomato since 3 generations before. Nowadays, tomato farm is fond of by the farmer in the tesbatan village. The number of tomato’s farmer is increase. The obstacles like unstable sale price and the farm expense are less infuence to the farmers interest intomato. Therefore, the aims of this study are : 1. To find out how much the income gain by the farmer, 2. To find out the factors that influence the production, 3. To find out how much the relative advantage gain by the tomato’s farmer from the tomato farm in Tesbatan Village, Amarasi Subdistric Kupang Regency. The result of this study showed that : The total income of tomato’s farm in Tesbatan Village at 2017 is Rp.407.391.500 with the level of every respondent farm is Rp. 10.720.829. Economically, tomato farm in Tesbatan village at 2017 has the advantage and proper to be roduced  with the value R/Cratio > which is 10.4. Simultaniously, with the extensive land variable, the production, the farm workers, the seed, the manure and the pesticide are influenced the tomato’s farm. This thing showed by the result analysis of F test with the value 81.425 with the significant value = 0.0000 < α = 0,05. The result analys of t test showed that partially, extensive land variableandthe manure have a significant value is < α = 0,05, while the seed variable, the pesticide variable,and the farmworkers variable have no significant influence to the tomato’s farm production because the significant value is > α = 0,05.   Kabupaten Kupang merupakan salah satu wilayah atau daerah penghasil tomat di NTT dan sangat potensial untuk pengembangan tanaman hortikultura, terutama sayuran dan buah-buahan. Selain mempunyai prospek pemasaran yang baik, tanaman hortikultura telah diusahakan oleh seluruh masyarakat pedesaan di Kabupaten Kupang. Petani Desa Tesbatan mengusahakan tomat sudah sejak lama atau sudah sejak tiga generasi lalu. Dewasa ini usahatani tomat semakin digemari oleh petani di Desa Tesbatan. Jumlah petani yang mengusahakan tomat bertambah, kendala-kendala seperti tidak menentunya harga jual, terus meningkatnya biaya usahatani nampaknya kurang berpengaruh  terhadap minat petani untuk berusahatani tomat. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1. Untuk mengetahui berapa besar pendapatan yang diperoleh petani dari usahatani tomat, 2. Mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi produksi, 3. Mengetahui berapa besar keuntungan relatif yang diperoleh petani tomat dari Usahatani Tomat di Desa Tesbatan Kecamatan Amarasi Kabupaten Kupang. Hasil dari penelitian ini mennjukkan bahwa : Total pendapatan usahatani tomat di Desa Tesbatan Tahn 2017 adalah sebesar Rp. 407.391.500 dengan rata-rata per petani responden sebesar Rp. 10.720.829. Secara ekonomi usahatani Tomat di Desa Tesbatan tahun 2017 menguntungkan serta layak untuk diusahakan dengan nilai R/C Rasio > yaitu sebesar 10,4. Secara simultan variabel luas lahan, produksi, tenaga kerja, benih, pupuk dan pestisida berpengaruh terhadap produksi usahatani tomat. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh hasil analisis uji F yang memiliki nilai sebesar 81.425 dengan nilai signifikan = 0,000 lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan α = 0,05. Hasil analisis uji t menunjukkan secara parsial variabel luas lahan dan pupuk berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produksi usahatani tomat karena memiliki nilai signifikan yang lebih kecil dari alpha 0,05 sedangkan untuk variabel benih, pestisida, dan tenaga kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produksi usahatani tomat karena memiliki nilai signifikan lebih besar dari alpha 0,05
