In an interview with Dr. Peter Callero, he describes his experiences as a Professor of Sociology here at Western Oregon University. Dr. Callero touches on his role in the beginnings of the Sociology department at WOU in 1985, the first Higher Education faculty strike in Oregon, and a program teaching inmates at the State Penitentiary, the women\u27s correctional facility, and the Oregon State Correctional Institution.
