Indonesia is a maritime country that has the potential of marine ornamental fish is quite large. The management of marine natural resources has been widely developed by fishermen. This study aims to determine the types of ornamental fish caught by Samudera Bakti fisherman group and the ornamental fishing process. The method used is qualitative descriptive with field observation, interview and identification of ornamental fish. The results of this study fisherman catch ornamental fish on Monday - Friday by using tools nets, scoop net and compressor as a breathing apparatus. Fishermen catch fish in the dry season while the rainy season does not catch. The captured fish species consisted of 35 species belonging to 16 families and new species. ...
