Orlando Hall was designed by George E. Spohn and built in 1948. The previous year the Sullivan House was constructed and was designed by the same architect and in a Spanish Mediterranean style. This photograph, taken in the 1950s, shows the paint contrasts Dean Cleveland mentions in a memo to Hamilton Holt (please see image and page text side by side)
