The poster presents findings in a systematic way, aligned with “Hodgkinson-Williams’ proposed optimal Open Education cycle” showing structural, cultural and agential factors influencing the use of open educational resources (OER) in the ROER4D studies (Research into Open Educational Resources for Development). One of the most compelling value propositions of OER is that they can be regularly updated and localised, thus reducing the cost of producing educational materials
