This country report elaborates on the institutional framework in India for implementing United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in general, and health SDGs in particular, placing focus on the role of health policy research institutions (HPRIs) and their involvement in the implementation and monitoring of health related SDGs, their potential role in achieving SDGs, and their linkages with other stakeholders.
