Contents: Main report and annexes 1-3Appendices catalogued separatelyThis project succeeded in increasing productivity, income generation, and consumption of millet varieties for improved nutritional security while reducing the drudgery of women. Women farmers were highly motivated for the value addition of products and development of new market linkages. Participation was over 60% in project activities related to improved practices such as the modification of mill efficiency. The success of the project was marked by the organization of an International workshop on “Promoting small millets for improved rural economy and food security” where 200 delegates representing six states attended. Annexes provide reports on all aspects of the project
