The main objective of the conference was to bring together the three sectors of agriculture, health, and nutrition, to understand more clearly how agriculture, as food supplier, income generator, and provider of growth, can sustainably reduce malnutrition and poor health for the world’s most vulnerable people. The conference was hosted by the International Food and Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), part of the Consultative Group for International Agriculture Research (CGIAR)
