Due to copyright restrictions, this item cannot be sharedThe research assessed the design, challenges, implementation and outcomes of Business Process Reengineering (BPR) in public service organizations in the Ethiopian government. Findings show encouraging results in terms of efficiency, mission-effectiveness, transparency, and minimizing corruption in the case-study organizations. However, results also confirm that there are variations among the organizations. Particularly, Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) and Ethiopian Revenue and Customs Authority (ERCA) have been more successful in meeting their BPR objectives than Development Bank of Ethiopia (DBE) and Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (MoLSA)
