Proposal Development Workshop, 29 Nov- 2 Dec, 2010, Kathmandu, NepalThe workshop aim was to develop a multi-country initiative in South Asia on Ecohealth research that addresses emerging and/or re-emerging infectious diseases, with a strong focus on human-animal health interactions, social and environmental change, and people’s livelihoods within an ecosystem perspective. The unifying health issue is Japanese Encephalitis (JE). At least one country (Sri Lanka) indicated the desire to also explore Leptospirosis as part of their project.
