The Climate Change Adaptation in Africa (CCAA) research and capacity development programme was launched in 2006, with a final evaluation conducted from September 2011 to May 2012. The evaluation team considers that overall, CCAA was efficient in selecting and supporting research projects, strengthening their research proposals, mentoring, supporting their technical implementation and monitoring and evaluation.
