Developing the NREN research index model for information sharing

Given the diversity of interests in agricultural biotechnology and the influence of radio convergence with new communication technologies, the study provides insights on how media can be better employed to promote accurate and fair understanding of newly emerging scientific innovations. Participatory discussions identified how different stakeholders were served or affected by sources of information, the extent to which their information needs and expectations were realized, and the role of radio as a source of biotechnology information
