Vulnerability analysis and assessment has been conducted for the impacts of sea level rise and meteorological extremes such storm surges and coastal flooding on residential, tourism, agricultural, and natural ecosystem areas, and the consequent economic and social effects. This project was carried out over a coast of 220 km length, with focus on four small pilot sites. Morocco has almost 3500 km coastline on the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.
